SEO Packages: US SERP and pricing research
Snapshot: DataForSEO Google organic results, US English desktop, 3 October 2026. Four queries, top ten each. Ahrefs domain ratings were checked separately on the same date. Open the full research sheet for all forty ranking URLs, classifications, DR values, observed headings and adjacent copy.
What the results show
Searches for “seo packages”, “seo service packages”, “monthly seo packages” and “seo packages pricing” return a mixed set of agency package pages, articles, marketplaces and forums. The commercial pages that directly address package choice explain who a plan fits, what monthly work is included, how pricing relates to scope and how results are reported. The PageTraffic page should answer those needs using its actual plans, without creating a new package family or borrowing competitor guarantees.
| Observed page | Headings and nearby content | PageTraffic implication |
|---|---|---|
| Third Marble · DR 44 · US #2 for pricing | H1 asks which package fits the business. Copy beneath distinguishes geography, competition and monthly scope; tier prices are shown. | Lead with campaign fit and show the real plan comparison. |
| digitalPIXXELS · DR 43 · US #6 for “seo packages” | Direct H1 “SEO Packages”, followed by a small-business/local-business H2. Adjacent text describes objectives and plan choices. | Use a direct H1 and explain Local, National and Ecommerce intent. |
| Embarque · US #1 for “seo service packages” | Monthly SEO service/package positioning with work scope and FAQs. | Make the recurring work visible, then answer buying questions. |
| WordPress SEO Agency · DR 22 · US #7 for monthly | “Choose Your SEO Plan” and “What Is Included in Monthly SEO Packages?” sections lead into audit and site-performance deliverables. | Put complete deliverables beside the plans, not in generic sales copy. |
| SEOReseller · US #9 for pricing | Its “Types of SEO Packages” section explains package types against business goals and geography. | Explain PageTraffic’s own three families; do not adopt competitor tiers. |
| OuterBox · supplementary result | Headings cover monthly plans and what a package should solve. Nearby copy covers site health, page quality, authority and accountability. | Show why plan work matters and how it is reviewed. |
PageTraffic page audit and decisions
- The live page starts its National plans at $499/month and contains seven FAQs. Those questions and answers are preserved in the designs and the FAQ schema matches the visible copy.
- The existing Dev page treats Google Maps as another package family. The redesign groups Google Maps optimization under Local SEO, leaving exactly the three approved families: National / Lead Generation, Local and Ecommerce.
- The plan cards and complete comparison are produced by the shared PHP package renderer. This keeps the approved package data, monthly reporting and enquiry anchors consistent with other pages. The full comparison starts closed.
- National live pricing context is stated where relevant. The designs do not invent Local or Ecommerce prices or guarantee rankings.
- Each design has one service-led H1, specific H2s for choosing a family, monthly deliverables and pricing, and links to the corresponding service pages.
Ahrefs DR is a domain-level context filter: PageTraffic measured DR 60; several direct package pages above have lower DR. That does not establish why any page ranks or predict future placement. Results can change with time, device, location and personalization.
Long-page content reconciliation
| Live / existing Dev material | Updated preview treatment |
|---|---|
| National pricing cards and full deliverable table | Retained through the shared National package renderer, with Local and Ecommerce available from the family selector. |
| Site analysis, on-page work, off-page work, ongoing review | Expanded into the four-part “What our SEO packages include” section, with platform-specific examples. |
| Custom pricing factors and campaign process | Retained as starting-point, market and goals criteria, then a four-stage campaign timeline. |
| Digital Agency Dashboard and monthly reports | Retained in a dedicated reporting section; AI visibility is tied to the tier that lists it. |
| Results and testimonials | Three anonymized campaign stories from the supplied presentations are linked without numeric claims. A short Philip Castleton testimonial excerpt is attributed to the existing live SEO Packages page. |
| Seven live FAQs and related services | FAQs remain verbatim with matching visible schema. Relevant service links are restored. |
| Duplicated comparison tables, repetitive benefits and unsupported ROI claim | Consolidated rather than repeated; the unsupported percentage is omitted. |
OuterBox direct review
OuterBox’s SEO Packages page uses a direct commercial H1, a “What a Monthly SEO Package Should Solve” H2 followed by technical health, page quality, authority and accountability, detailed monthly plan inclusions, a month-one/two versus later-month process, scope by website type, team and FAQs. It makes AI/LLM visibility explicit in higher tiers. PageTraffic’s revised design applies the structural lesson with original content and its own three approved package families; it does not copy OuterBox’s guarantees, price or tier names.
AI SEO scope from current shared package data
Local plans include an AI/AEO/GEO group with defined allowances. National Silver, Gold and Platinum list dedicated AI optimization and monthly AI visibility reporting; National Bronze does not list those dedicated allowances. Ecommerce currently says its AI-search scope is confirmed in the proposal. The preview therefore highlights AI SEO across the three campaign families while making plan-level scope explicit instead of promising identical AI work in every tier.
ChatGPT visibility sample
One unauthenticated ChatGPT web-backed prompt on 3 October 2026 asked for monthly SEO package recommendations for a US business. It named OuterBox, Firestarter SEO, Joyful SEO and Intergrowth; it did not name PageTraffic in that response. It specifically separated packages with explicit AI-search inclusions from general SEO offers. This is a single, non-repeatable answer, not an AI ranking or share-of-voice measurement. The page revision makes the three PageTraffic families and AI scope much easier to identify.
Three design directions
- Focused comparison: dark split hero with a visual guide to the three families.
- Editorial guide: light, readable package-selection page.
- Search roadmap: campaign-process framing followed by the same shared plans.
